Help Us Build Etc.Paper

Why we're crowdfunding.

Help Us Build Etc.Paper

We’re tripling the size of our tiny Peckham store to create SE London’s coolest stationery shop, with books and a coffee bar. Help us build it by donating to our Crowdfunder.

We have big plans for our new space, including:

More stationery brands. And they won't be your usual ones. We have our eye on some brands we've loved for a really long time from all over the world that we can almost guarantee you haven't seen before.

Curated bookstore space. We're acquiring quite the collection from independent publishers and hard-to-find titles that we can't wait to share (let's just say you won't find airport books here).

✹ Our very own coffee bar. Because how perfect while you're looking through the books, right? Plus, a multibrand store with a coffee bar just feels right. Especially one where you could have your daily coffee with Peckham's most desirable celebrity cat duo, Marmalade & Dadelade.

✹ New Etc.Lates events programme. This is something we've wanted to do for ages but couldn't quite work out how. Weird crafts, talks, brand launches, book clubs. We're already in planning mode and finally get to share this with you in a new space!

What's in it for you?

Merch, rewards, and the perfect amount of bragging rights that you helped add to Peckham's thriving creative community. Our first merch collection is designed to tell people what kind of person you are...

And those aren't the only rewards up for grabs. We've got store credit (either online or in store) at both our stationery and homeware stores, consultation sessions with our Creative Director, and even 1 free coffee per week for an entire year (look at you locals!).

Every donation big or small helps us evolve our space. And if you can't pledge, every share counts too. How cool is that? Check out the crowfunder here.

Get the vision...

It will be somewhere you can sit, find stationery from all over the wolrd, and discover books you've never heard of. Not quite a shop, not quite a cafe. Something in between.

The next few months are going to be crazy (*searches how to DIY build a coffee bar*) but we're so excited for this new phase and can't wait to take you along on the journey.

Here's some interior imagery that's inspiring our renovation plans. (It's going to look amazing, basically).

Behind the idea...

Our Creative Director Jana put her thoughts to (virtual) paper on the journal about why it's okay to rethink your entire business.

'...one of the big benefits of having an independent business is the ability to be able completely rewrite the script, whenever you want.'
